Application
We have the money put back for the application, so I started filling it out today! We will have to find a day that we can go together to get the stuff notarized that has to be, but I'm hoping we can send it in before Thanksgiving!

Getting started
Nate and I knew we wanted to adopt pretty early in our relationship. We hoped to have a biological child first, then adopt. However, we feel that God's plan definitely includes adoption, and we are ready to begin our family. So, we started researching adoption last year.
We have decided to adopt from South Korea, and we have chosen an adoption agency we plan to work with. As you know, I am not going to have much of an income for the next year, because I will basically be a student again while I complete my post-doctoral work. This means we will have to work even harder to raise the funds to get our adoption started. At this point, we need to get the funds to complete the application and home study. We also have to have a plan as to how we will acquire the total amount required for the adoption, which is around $30,000. We know this is going to be a difficult road, but we want nothing more than to bring our child home, and we know God will provide the way.
